Self EvaluationCourse-PSC-220
Reflection: This artifact is an entire reflection upon myself as a learner. Throughout this paper, I wrote about my strengths and weakness. One strength I found through weakness is time management. I hate the thought of being late and deadlines which leads to me getting extremely stressed out. So, I turned my weakness into a strength! I believe self-analyzation is valuable because it helps a person become more aware of their preferences or struggles as they begin to teach. Weaknesses as a student provide insight and as long as an effort is made to strengthen weaknesses, then we are growing as an educator. I can use my journey as a student to help my students in the future by relating to them, trying to be understanding, and putting myself in their position. We were all students first! |
College Faculty EvaluationCourse-ECD-160
Reflection: This artifact pertains to content knowledge and myself as a learner because it's about multiple intelligences, including my intelligence. For this assignment, we took a multiple intelligence test and my two highest scores were bodily-kinesthetic and visual-spatial. This was no surprise to me as I know the ways I can and cannot learn because I've struggled with it for some time. While people can learn through other intelligence, it just seems to be more short-term knowledge or extremely frustrating for the learner. However, when a lesson plan has numerous components to reach every learner, it's more fulfilling for the entire class. This assignment helped me learn more about my intelligence and how it might affect me as a learner. |
